Some of the guys from back then practically saw me grow up. I always tailgated with the krew, I told Heygirl, she wasn't pretty.. frick it

I just keep it going because that's what most people expect... I do need to move and finish college though, 1 year.. Computer engineering sucks arse and grandma getting cancer and me moving back home didn't help

I feel ya there. Tons of survivors in my family. Puts things in perspective.

Get school done. No better feeling in the world than have that degree in hand. Not having to go to another day of classes again unless YOU want to...

And THAT is why I pay for everything in cash. If I don't have it, it doesn't get done.

And I know from experience, it's OK to tell your kids no. Like I tell mini me when he gets upset we can't buy this, or go there, "that's ok man. You'll get hungry later, and I'll be here."

I feel like part of one happy OT family when we all come together and jointly rag on someone for their bad life choices. Warm and fuzzy feeling in my heart

So much dumb in that other thread, had to get away.

So much this.

I once dated a 33 year old who, at 16, had her daughter. Now, I don't have any kids of my own to relate completely, but I'll be damned if she wasn't trying to fill a friendship role rather than that of parent. Could not tell her no at the risk of her daughter being upset with her. I couldn't help but My mom once told me, "son, if at some points you don't hate me the way I'm raising you, then I'm not doing my job."

Oh, eta: handful of pistachios.

I was lucky that my mom had terrible fashion sense from the time I knew what that was. I wanted to buy my own clothes as soon as possible.

Says every Hispanic kid I take care of at work. That stuff is shite on your stomach though. Saw an article where ER docs are seeing more and more cases of kids coming in the ER with abdominal pain. The culprit.....spicy hot Cheetos. They think the flavor coating upsets the natural ph of the stomach.

I think I might get a vasectomy soon...I mean I want more kids but all the women are batshit.

I'm holding out for a nubile, nerdy redhead but I don't know how much longer I can wait.
