I guess so. I'm still dealing with the situation at the moment. This was all good in theory.

Going back to school, etc.
Now I'm wondering what the heck is wrong with me. This is what happens when I get bored. I find ways to screw with my life.

I think it's because I also came down with some major sickness while over there.
Stress.

Its nothing against you, that is scary for almost everyone after age 25 or so. Especially when you are doing it alone.

I know your age, its still scary to move across the country all alone to a new city without knowing people when you are almost 30 unless you have some serious savings. I hope it does work out and if it does Ill give you mad props! Good luck!
