I would have gone and not really "helped" as much as tried to learn as much as I could about their ways and tech, from the inside.

Nah. He used to be a Sheriff of a SW county and we have been friends for a while. Used to ride along with him busting meth heads stealing anhydrous from farmers and it was fun.
He knows I can take care of myself from war stuff and wanted me for undercover situations and interogation. I just don't need the drama.
