Sounds like he'd enjoy living in the LP. If you don't want it I'll call dibs.

The llama is a domesticated South American camelid, widely used as a meat and pack animal by Andean cultures since pre-Hispanic times.

When I was at LSU someone hopped the fence near north stadium gates and tried to ride a university owned Ostrich. It was a research animal or something, there was a few of them in a small fenced in field/area. He accidentally snapped its neck over the fence somehow and killed it. Rumored to be about 25k value at the time.

Anyone else remember this?

First step in obtaining a llama is purchasing llama insurance.

I know some guys who killed one on purpose and got caught...late 90s. But I think this was out by Old Jefferson or something

I have a cousin in California who raises them and sells them to ranchers throughout the West to protect their cattle herds. The llamas protect the cattle from predators. Don't mess with llamas.

I almost smashed right through the fence and hit a few of them circa March 1994. Rainy arse Thursday Night(fri morning) leaving the Bengal doing 50 on Highland road into that curve.
I actually wondered what that would have cost me if my car hadn't stopped a few feet short of the fence.
Went Right between them two trees
