I think there is a two hour delay I live about 450 miles south and 50 miles west of Richland county. It has been dark for a while here when LPD comes on. It is always daylight there on the show though.

no i think they produce the footage that they collect over a week or two in these selected cities. they cut and edit to make it interesting and keep viewers watching.

Nah it's filmed the day of. If you watch the reruns, they have a lot more stuff bleeped out and blurred that they couldn't catch "live"
