Life with someone who is truly paranoid is interesting

When she truly has mental health issues, it can drive you crazy.
Get home
"Why is there a fog in this house (pointing)? Needs to be investigated" [There is no fog]
We leave to go to the store. She runs out to check out a street light that is not working. Two minutes to investigate.
Watches every street light as we pass by - "Why do the street lights change colors as we go by?"
"Why is that car following us?" (turning around every twenty seconds)
At the store, Deputy sheriff I know comes up to say hello. I can see the ultra-wary mode - she thought his appearance was the result of him following her all the time.
Get home. Every noise in the house generates a reaction. I say "it is just the A.C." She says "you don't know much about low level energy weapons."
I'm going to get stabbed one night.

It sounds as if this person needs to be hospitalized for mental health treatment.

Might as well have some fun with it and let her "catch" you talking about her to an imaginary person on the phone. "She knows about the low level energy weapon you've been testing on - oh hey Honey!"

She's been in three times and is in a program where people come to the house. The problem with someone who is paranoid is they have an oddly logical position: Medicine won't make people stop directing low level energy weapons at the house, won't stop people from following you, etc.
It is logical, and so they don't take their medicine, because to them it won't stop the issue.

A lot of truth in that ...
What's weird is that when my mother was very sick at home (she passed in Feb.), no one was better with her than she was. The trips up were awful (cars with headlights on during the day, e.g. most of them, get inspected and I sometimes have to pull over to let one go by if they are behind us). But, she was super sweet with my mom.
