I think history tells us we will have a cooler summer just because we had the hottest summer on record last year, but an above average summer can still cause us problems. The hot summer with the high pressure parked over us last year was a blocking wall for all tropical activity

Great video from Levi. The signals definitely point to an active Atlantic hurricane season, but as he said in the video, that doesn’t necessarily mean a lot of U.S. landfalls. La Niña is taking shape already, so I think it’s just a matter of how early in the season things start to pop off.
