Looks like a guy playing on fear and capilizing on emotion.
A man tapping into a culture that existed before and he recognized he could use their fear and emotion as a pulpit of truth and leadership.
An end times in the mind of Americans which needed an alternative to the infiltration of outside hate, ignorance and rationale.

This is a serious question. I know these televangelist are always asking for donations.. Do any of them ever claim they use the money for anything good? If so, has anyone ever seen or heard of groups representing these people, ever contributing?
