That was awesome. People forget that those were pretty violent times back then. People handled their own business and a lot of the time the police didn't even ask about it. My grandfather had to move from Roxie ms to Concordia parish for shooting a man over a dog.

Yep. We live right now in the least violent era in human history. That won't last but we should be thankful for it.

The loss of this class era, portrayed in the airline photo, I blame fully on the Rock N' Roll fad. I'll sure be glad when this fad dies away and we can return to a sense of normalcy.

I grew up in New Orleans. When we went to Canal St. to shop we wore dresses, hats and gloves. Those were the best of times.
