Lesbian couple’s custody fight with two gay men who donated sperm so they could all raise the same child in their two identical New York apartments

No way this child grows up to be screwed up.

This poor child.

Bender, who represented one of the women during the resulting court case, added: 'We walked into the courtroom, and the judge was reading the petition. I’ll never forget the look on the judge’s face.
'She looked up and looked at the parties, and she looked at me and said: "Counsel, explain."'

I don't understand the purpose of the identical apartments. Did they think the kid wouldn't know he was in different places? Or did they just want to confuse it?

I'm hoping they realized the absurdity of the situation and TRIED to make it as less confusing for the child. Something I guess they could get away with for a while.

Never mind the gay dads and gay moms. Your house looks the same!

From the article:
quote:

The two men and two women, all from New York, had planned to have a baby and then share out parenting duties evenly throughout the year.

Did they realize they were talking about a human life, or a timeshare condo?

Hey, my wife and I share parenting duties throughout the year!!!

We're just still in the process of saving up for the matching modest home in Central Florida. Got a ways to go!!!

It's sad when adults see a child as a plaything. I feel bad for this kid.

The only thing that would have been better is if she said "seriously?"

Consequences of moral relativism. It erodes the very institutions on which human societies have been built for tens of thousands of years (marriage, gender, family unit, etc.), and it's dehumanizing.

Wow...

How do queers explain sex?

Well, we took an egg from Charlene and then Paid Bruce and Tanner to masturbate into a tube, then stuck the mix into Elanor and you were born! Just like nature intended!

When you feel like you have to contort your life this much you probably shouldn't be parents.

There should be a test to have kids, vote and make the driving one infinitely more difficult.

Here's another link with more information on this case and other strange gays custody situations.
LINK

Here is a new term I learned in regards to a case with a gay couple, one of whose sister was the egg donor and one was the biological father, all three raising the child.
quote:

The lawyer is fighting to get the partner recognized as a “psychological parent,” and the three sides are now battling in court.

Another one
quote:

Updating state law to define “de facto parents,”

I'm guessing here they just had sex? Or used the turkey baster method?
quote:

Three is often a crowd in court, said Friedman, who noted a case in which a lesbian couple used a sperm donor to get pregnant but didn’t have the procedure done under medical supervision.

I feel bad for these poor kids.
