Talked to my Squadron Chaplain today and he told me they have something called an ecclesiastical sponsor.(religion/denominational backing)

This sponsor can pull a Chaplain out of the military anytime they want (instantly) if the Chaplain goes against the church's doctrine.

So next time you hear a story about a branch of the service making their Chaplains do stuff against their faith, it is a lie.

Their oath to The Constitution is more like a suggestion. They still get to pick which sinners to service.

I thought since they were federal employees, it would be different. Wrong!

I will give you the Congress and ex but the SCOTUS get to do the interpreting. So they kinda set the precedence.
