It would not be shocking if it happens in the near future. I have been thinking it is coming for the last month. If and when it happens, Russia will make significant gains in territory.
Ukraine is about to get a whole lot of ammo from the US, which will tide them over until the Czech-led purchases come through. If Congress passes the aid package this weekend, the first ammo deliveries will happen just a few days later.

Linking a stupid post by someone else 2500 pages ago is supposed to be some kind of gotcha? I have never made any kind of bold proclamation on here, I am just reading the writing on the wall.
Ignoring that the situation has changed drastically between then & now isn't exactly constructive...but cope however you need to.

He wasn't even talking to you. Get a grip.

You seem to be having a temper tantrum and coping fairly poorly. Even pretending in two posts to be an American. I guess it sucks from the Russian perspective to have a major infusion of weapons into Ukraine so that they can defend themselves.
Or maybe you are a Stidham alter, given your weird reaction to a post mocking Stidham, who you then say is not you. Either way you are losing it.

They had me until this.
One of the few times that I agree with you.
IMO our intelligence agencies are just mad that they have no control over it.

I live in Alabama and have never been within 1500 miles of Russia but ok.

Lol at thinking this weapons shipment is going to substantially change anything. Does it include soldiers?

For sure, I am freaking out.

Why are you such a Russian fanboy then if you’re not a Russian frickbot? I’f you’re an American then you’re a fricking disgrace to your country. And don’t even try inserting politics because I’m not a liberal like some that post here which is they’re right just as my right to be a Trump voter. What gets your rocks off on Russia? Please explain.

Why does Russia launch its biggest strikes against Ukraine on early Friday mornings?

So you can’t answer my question can you?

I've said it at least 20x, I was initially on Ukraine's side. Then I started to see nearly everything being reported on the war was absolute horseshite. I realized that Zelensky was doing everything he could to get in us involved, and I don't blame him, but I couldn't support him after that. My primary concern is not getting dragged into a war and wasting more money we don't have.
I wasn't alive in the Cold War so I don't have the same mindset towards Russia that y'all do. Do I like Russia? Believe it or not, I don't give a shite about Russia. They talk tough because they have to, but I don't see them as a real threat to the United States.
I am rooting for Russia because I personally believe them ending this war as fast as possible in our best interest, obviously y'all see it differently, and that's fine. I think this was a huge miscalculation on our part, the Russian military was completely hollowed out, this was obvious in the early stages of this war. Now they're back to wartime production while everyone in the West is playing with their dicks, cutting through all the typical red tape bullshite. Russia will probably end up stronger after this conflict, at least militarily. I genuinely believe they have no intention of attacking a NATO country after this conflict. Maybe I am being naïve, I am just not buying into all the fear mongering that is being spewed by Western media. I am definitely jaded towards the media and our leaders after they blatantly lied about every justification for war we've participated in over the last few decades.
I think it's in everyone's best interest that this ends as soon as possible, especially for Ukraine, they are about to lose another generation of young men. I don't see any scenario where they get their land back and I don't see any scenario where Russia can occupy areas west of the Dnipro (except in the South). Y'all will say Ukrainians still want to fight so that's their right, the only people that are saying this are the people in Western Ukraine & Kyiv who aren't getting dragged into vans against their will to be sent to the front. How do we know the majority of Ukrainians still support this? They didn't have a chance to vote for anything else, so maybe they don't.
Sorry for the novel, but you asked.

What is the upside of attacking a NATO country for Russia? It's a war they can't win, what will they gain from it? The only ones that remotely make any sense are Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

House foreign aid bills advance with Democrats' help; Johnson may still be in peril
April 19, 202412:17 AM ET
The House Rules Committee has voted 9-3 to advance a package of bills providing aid to Israel, Ukraine and other allies, after Democrats took the rare step of supporting a procedural vote for Republican bills.
Republican Reps. Chip Roy, Thomas Massie and Ralph Norman voted against the rule, out of anger that assistance to Ukraine was not paired with conservative border security provisions, as House Speaker Mike Johnson had previously pushed to do.
Thursday night's vote enables the full House to vote on the rule and begin debate on the foreign aid bills. Various pieces of the package are expected to pass with bipartisan coalitions this weekend.
Ahead of Thursday night's vote, Democratic leaders had not committed to supporting the rule, as text was not yet available. But said they were open to the possibility, and they were committed to getting foreign aid passed.
"We're going to do what's necessary to make sure that the national security bill gets over the finish line," House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries said Thursday morning.
