Mi Padres best Tex Mex in BR and Prairieville.

Why? Because they serve handmade flour tortillas and not that store bought crap.

Then maybe the police should not respond to a call when some pos is robbing that place. Maybe the chief could acknowledge that it happened, but not reveal which officer ignored the call.

Yea but the other thread didn't have the memo posted so half of it was people accusing the op of lying.

I don't eat at Mi Padres. I prefer to eat at Mexican restaurants owned by actual Hispanic people rather than Arabs.

Who owns all the Las Palmas' and what is their nationality? Also, wasn't the O'neal one recently shut down? I used to like Las Palmas but haven't been to one in a good while.

I will not set foot in there again...or in any of their nasty establishments. I hope they get robbed and nobody shows up to help. How unbelievably hard it is to be a cop.,protecting those who would love to harm you.
frick Los Palmas.

If we are going to do this let's not forget about DQ.

Advocate 2015

quote:

A Baton Rouge Police Department lieutenant ordered a burger at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at a Dairy Queen, 3444 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. Before eating, the officer looked at his burger and noticed what looked like spit on the top of his bun. “The lieutenant stuck his finger into the substance attempting to determine what it was and verified the substance resembled saliva,” according to a police report. The officer complained to a store manager, said Cpl. Don Coppola, a spokesman for the Baton Rouge Police Department. A store surveillance video showed that Johnson grabbed a bun, walked off to the side, and, apparently thinking he was out of view, brought the burger up to his mouth briefly, walked back and then completed making the burger, Coppola said. Upon questioning, Johnson initially denied spitting on the burger and gave a false name and date of birth — he has an outstanding warrant with the Baton Rouge Constable’s Office — but later admitted he suffers from several diseases, including herpes, Coppola said. The saliva on the burger is being DNA tested to see if it matches Johnson, Coppola said.

The one time we ate at Mi Padres in P-ville, the food was not good, just like Nando's...Guess we'll just continue to chain it at El Paso until we hear bad stuff about it.

That place is garbage anyway. I ate there one time... tasted like everything had been cooked hours ago and reheated in a microwave. Spit actually might have made it taste better.
