Do people even realise that Robert E. Lee didn't support the CSA's ideals? He only fought for the CSA because of where he and his family lived.

I don't even understand what the rally is...

I'd venture to say that over 90% of the people that are "offended" by the statue couldn't tell you when the Civil War started much less what it was really fought over.

They might as well get rid of every statue, flag, or anything that would offend anyone. Whatever they feel is offensive, there are a lot of things that are offensive to all people and religions. Get rid of it all!
