Lafayette Contractor recommendations for home repair

This morning I went to replace a few boards that showed signs of water damage. When I pulled them off it's obvious that the job is a lot bigger than I can handle. It looks like I have a small leak in the roof that is slowly rotting away my back porch and from the damage it looks like its been happening for years before I saw the damage on the surface.
It looks like the job would include some roof repair and rebuilding/replacing one side of my porch. Any recommendations for a job like this? Can I claim something like this on my homeowners insurance?

I apologize for being a little more creative than you. I mean including geauxtigers on an LSU board, how original. The damage looks to have started on the inside before making itself visible on the outside of the house. I'm assuming the issue started with the new roof installation which was not done while I owned this home. If that's the case then the home inspector missed it as well. Thanks for your help.

check pants for penis.
Penis?
If no, have your husband fix it.
If yes, fix if your damn self.

I have a good friend who has a few crews in Lafayette. Normally works big houses but also does what you are speaking of. Need a number? I'm sure he can give you an estimate.

Good luck, I can't even find someone to give me a price on stuff like that. I've had a couple give me a price then when I tell them to do it they never show up.

That's what I was afraid of with a smaller job like this.

re: HO insurance covering that damage -- prolly negative -- long term damage not covered by HO insurance.
