Been shopping around for a lab puppy as an Xmas gift. What are my best breeder options?

Last year we got a chocolate lab from some people out in French Settlement. That dog is effing crazy but she is beautiful. A perfect chocolate lab, although I may be a bit biased. Labs are super high energy and take a long time to settle down. I hope you are ready.

omg think of all the puppies that could use a good home and u shouldnt force a dog to do stuff like hunt and fish and make sure it stays inside omg ur a horrible person

Steve and Kim Riggins at Bear Creek on the Bayou Retrievers in Slaughter. They've bred and trained hundreds of UKC and AKC champs, Grand Hunters, Master Hunters, etc. I've done a lot of business with them in the past but haven't spoken to them in a while. Very nice people with wonderful dogs.

Prize my Eyes in St. Martinville. We have 8yo chocolate from there and she is an absolutely wonderful dog. Great temperament and has been very healthy thus far

Check out the a Lab rescue organization. That way you can get a Lab without killing a shelter dog.
