Lots of posts that are indifferent about this topic, which I guess is par for the course on the OT. That apology is laughable though. In my experience, the the use of the n-word comes from a racist mindset about 99% of the time, yet this fool is trying to argue otherwise.

You can ignore it all you want, but when someone of another race refers to African-Americans as the n-word, it is racially motivated. Period.

Agree. I'd say it comes from true racism a quarter of the time, utter stupidity 50% of the time, and exasperation/anger 25% of the time.
I don't use that word, but the most vulgar language I do use usually comes in dealing with some a-hole on the interstate or some similar situation. The shite I would say to video games when I was 13 would make me blush now.

Well you just moved the goal post. And I have a friend that is black as night that I can call him the n word. I can assure you it's not racial. I know many other people like that. But keep making up statistics and attaching meaning to people's words when you have no idea.
