Thought I may have seen something about a repair.

Work Continuing to Move Along on City of Thibodaux Overlays Project
Thibodaux, LA - Roadwork is continuing locally on several overlays with milling operations slated for St. Patrick Highway tomorrow and Friday.

Additionally, Coastal Bridge Construction of Baton Rouge, will be placing binder and a first lift of asphalt on North Acadia Road tomorrow with a goal to finish up work on the stretch of road from Audubon to Cardinal Drive by the end of the week.

Ridgefield Road from 8th Street to Young Place has already been milled, and is expected to be paved next week (March 27-31) with both lifts of binder and wearing course (final surface) scheduled to be placed on Ridgefield and St. Patrick next week, barring any unforeseen delays.

Intermittent lane closures will be necessary to complete this work as well as tying-in driveways, striping, and cleanup.

The City of Thibodaux Overlays Project is being administered through a formal grant agreement between the City and LaDOTD, in concert with South Central Planning and Development Commission.

Future updates will be posted on the status of the overlays project when and if necessary with a completion date expected to fall somewhere in the May to June time period.

This has to be fake news. According to the Rant Baton Rouge is the only place that has traffic, crime, litter and all other multitudes of issues.

They really need to put a light right dere. The only other option is going straight through the city, and let's not get into how long that would take.

Already have enough lights in town...

Speaking of, you see that guy on the corner with his Chrimus lights still up...and on? P-Brown and 308. A redneck woman I guess...
