Just saw this on the news. Brings back memories from high school because for some reason people put up these posters, I guess to bring awareness, whatever good that did. I found it funny because Kony looked like our P.E. teacher.

Wasn't this one of the first big hashtag campaigns that showed how retarded twitter warfare is?

Kony 2012 pretty much showed how stupid millennials and the Progressive left are.

The man gave kids training and life skills and jobs.
Not sure what the big deal was.

I remember when all those cucks came to school and made us throw a huge assembly telling us why we should care about some idiots in africa. Most of my friends and classmates thought it was complete bullshite. The only people that seemed remotely concerned were are cucked teachers and administration. Didn't it turn out that the entire thing was a scam?
The people that were putting that thing on looked like this

Someone should have made Phony 2012 shirts for the two nominees and sold them.

Every time I hear of Kony 2012 I think of this.

None of the money raised from the Kony campaign was actually used to help try to take him down. People were donating and buying t shirts for nothing

What exactly was the campaign for? Was it to bring awareness of the shite her was doing? How did people turn this into a scam?

They bought a feeling of self righteousness. That's the most important part of twitter campaigns.
