We had a couple of these guys on campus when I was in school.

I think they were studying poli sci or something.

They were always the loudest and most talkative students as well.

What do you mean by non traditional? They didn't actually sign up for classes?

I may get thrown out of school.

I don't think I will be able to take their opinions without smashing a fist in their face

My mom went back when she was 40.

eta: That was her first time attending college, so I guess "went back" isn't quite correct here.

That's why they're called non tradition.

Traditionally, you go to LSU, fail out, work in a plant, then go back in your early 40's.

Had a class at LSU with a guy (who later became a friend) and his mom. I re-met the guy over a decade later bartending in Montana, where I'd just moved. They had random Mardi Gras crap everywhere and I asked him for some. He said no. Then we started talking and realized the LSU connection. I got lots of random Mardi Gras crap and very strong drinks! CSB.

Had Buddy Roemer's daughter in a few Poli Sci classes.

I would go in hungover as all hell and she would never shut the F up and keep talking past the time we were supposed to leave.

She did once just let it all out and said she was there in later in life because she would get F'd up at the Governor's Mansion the whole time her Dad was in office.

You do know, that while the typical college age is 18-24, that universities are actually available for those of any age to attend...right?

Quit be so exclusive and embrace your older classmates.
