Of course, but when the word goes out that a shoplifter left the store with some blankets and soap, it's not like everyone is going to sprint towards a unit to get in hot pursuit.

There was a minimum of 10-12 cops because they obviously tried to flee. They were able to make it all the way to Bonnabel and then there entire vehicle was surrounded by cop cars forcing them to stop. Jefferson Parish Police do not play!

And to the others I know this wasn't looting/protesting it was shoplifting, it was a freakin joke people. Glad these two POS got caught.

I'm sure these two upstanding young women were doing this in support of Michael Brown.

Way to make a huge fricking assumption because they are black. Not defending their actions what so ever. It's very shitty.

That's very fricking racist of you.

Lakeside is one of the most shoplifted malls in the entire country.

I find this hard to believe.

And yes to the other doubters, JPSO will move with the quickness with a shitload of cops when they have "one" on the run.

I grew up on the Northshore so I do admit that it is a very different culture. However, I do love New Orleans, especially Lakeview. New Orleans does have it's problems in certain areas but for the most part those problems stay in those areas.
