Just put in a noise complaint over my apartment neighbor

Long story short, this person has his music bumping 24 hours a day for the last 8 days.
I wanted to knock on his door and talk to him, but after getting home today from work it's even louder.

Speakin of loud neighbors, I thought of starting a thread about this but what's the deal with neighbors/people who have really loud sex when they know people can hear them. Specifically women just screaming very loudly. I mean, it's fake. But what's the point? A message that her man can satisfy her?

Call the cops or your courtesy officer. Best way to handle this in my experience. Especially a courtesy officer because they can hear and report to the office. Written trail is always best.
