Definitely trashy in general. I didn't really run with the trashy frickers when I lived there. Come to think of it, all the non trashy people I know from lake Charles moved elsewhere after high school, so I guess that leads to a more concentrated trashy presence in LC

LC has better restaurants, less rednecks, and is good driving distance between Houston and NOLA (assuming i10 is flowing which is like never). Ellick isn't as bad as people that have never been there try and make it out to be based on what they've heard from people that have been there once or twice. Same with Shreveport--don't get the hate other than the whole "SLA is more authentic Louisiana than NLA" angle which is retarded because both have their positives and negatives.

LC is a rundown mess. The ppl here look rundown. The rednecks here don't even know they are rednecks. I consider Lake Charles close to Houma as one of the worst cities in South LA. Its a terrible play. No wonder why it has a drug problem.
