Anyone have info on when they will resume work on adding the additional lanes? I see trucks every so often doing electrical or digging work. Are they waiting for that sewage pump construction site off Jones Creek to complete maybe?

Once the utility work is done they will start. think i read an article in the advocate a month or so back that the utility re-routes were taking longer then anticipated and would be done sometime this summer

bingo, don't forget to add ATT and a couple of gas companies. It was suppose to start two years ago but the low bidder was thrown out. actual road work should begin later on this year.

I think they are still taking bids for the construction phase.
The biggest hold up is the sewer pumping station they are building across from the hardware store.

nope, they have a contract signed by a local contractor.

and another nope. that pump station was under a separate contract which finished on time. It cannot serve any purpose until the construction on jones creek is complete.
