How in the hell did Boeing go so right with the Apache and go so wrong with the Osprey?

New technology is always dangerous. When jets first came out for the military they were putting them in the dirt left and right.

They did finally get the shite work out, but the 90s were a rough time for that aircraft.

Some of that was due to the fact they transitioned fixed-wing guys to the Osprey and not helo guys. One of the first Class A mishaps was a classic case of power settling with fixed-wing pilots on the sticks.

Feels like this is a different type of platform.
Isn’t it electric? And much smaller?

If you like joby
Consider archer .. others if you want German…..European..

Both were destroyed over last few years due to interest rates .. joby held up better because of stage of certification.. Honda feds and airlines involved in joby

Stellavantis (sp?) the big auto conglomerate ( jeep-dodge rolls r .. .jag..etc) is involved with archer as is United

One of the also involved with Uber…Uber plans on them being part of their commuting long term plan..archer sp still struggling..

I have both .. sitting in my leave to kids bucket… may move to a Roth
