Job A
-A field that I have quite a bit of knowledge, and know the infrastructure inside and out. Current Salary 65,000.00. Salary Cap 68,500.00. Weekly schedule 4 on Friday thru Sunday off. Benefits minimal (not great)

Job B
- a field that I have some knowledge but could learn thru the first year or so. Current Salary 49,000.00. Salary Cap 115,000.00. Weekly schedule Monday thru Friday 10 hours. Off weekends. Benefits much better than Job A.

I know that's a very rough and lacking briefing... But going strictly off that, what would you go with??

What's the time line from getting to low to high salary in job B?

Job A seems like the obvious choice given the immediate salary and 52 extra days off.

You married? Kids? The one with the better benefits would be more attractive to someone that needed coverage for their family.

how is your salary cap 3500$ more in job A? So you would indefinitely make the same amount?

I swear you posted something like this a few months back. Getting a new job already?

Job B sounds best with the 6 fig cap.how long till you get there?

Job A if you think you could eventually get paid more somewhere else.

68.5k is a pretty low ceiling.

Wow, that's a huge jump in 3 years. B immediately becomes better if you can work with the temporarily lower salary and don't need the extra day off.

Ultimate scenario would be A for 3 years and then leverage the extra experience to move to B at or near the salary ceiling. So if possible, do that.

B if you're confident you'll reach the salary cap relatively soon
