Jessica Chambers Case

Does anyone think they will ever figure out who burned this girl alive? I remember a few months ago reading about a few different suspects but I really haven't heard much about this since. I googled her name under news and the last article about her was in February. I blame a lot of it on the incompetence of the Panola County Sheriffs dept.

Never got national attention. Media didnt care. White girl burned to death by a black drug gang is a non story.

A few national news companies had articles about it the week she died.....but nothing in the national spotlight since then

The case sounds like a complete clusterfrick. Supposedly they go months without knowing what happened to her over the course of 8 hours and then all of the sudden a bunch of businesses remember seeing her one hour before her death.
If they haven't found the person/people responsible, I doubt they ever will.

The local law enforcement and government aren't doing shite to solve the crime, they obviously don't care enough either (not just saying that - law enforcement is clearly corrupt and/or complicit in shady activities). A bunch of trash that entire town, white and black. Place needs to be wiped off the map.

BUT the interesting developments:
She appeared to be pretty heavy in drug-use before her death, Meth and Crack.
The article also suggest that she may be hooking for drugs or money to buy drugs.
She and her boyfriend, Travis “Travo” Sanford, had a drug deal with someone named Roger Hentz. They were going to sell Roger Hentz 100 tabs of Lortab for $500, BUT Jessica and her boyfriend actually used OTC tabs and ripped-off this Roger dude for $400...

No chance. Local law enforcement is a special kind of incompetent and a bit corrupt. Girl had drug issues and a lot of people have kind of dismissed her after that and being caught up in a dangerous crowd.
