She said she was underage in the pics, after they were released. No, it's not her fault that they were stolen, but people who looked at them had no way of knowing this fact until after she said it.
I'm talking about JLaw, but it applies to all of them. This is essentially the same thing that happened to Erin Andrews. Her nude body's image was posted without her consent.

I don't have to have stolen the sauce for the act to be illegal.
So you're making my point for me then?

You're a moron.
Nope.

She admitted to sending the pics to her bf. Once she does that, those pics are out of her control and she accepts that they could be shared.
Btw, i know that the pics were obtained from her icloud account, but it seems fishy that she breaks up with her bf in August, and only days later is when the pics get leaked.

But also, 99.9% of people had prior knowledge that these were taken illegally so pretending to be ignorant of the content and its source is kind of laughable
Fair enough, but they don't go out and arrest everyone who saw someone's tits in the Enquirer, when those were not taken by permission either.

she accepted the risk when she put them on the internet. Clearly some people would enjoy looking at them.
since we love analogies here. If I walk around with a wad of cash pocking out of my pocket I accept the risk that someone may come and rob me. I'll definitely press charges and try to get them. But lets say that person decides to give half my money out to every bum he passes on the street. I'm not going to go around and calling all those people thief's as well. Only one crime was committed and this scenario was preventable with proper precaution.

He just happened to have 30 other celebrity women nude photos as well?

Do you not see a difference between being photographed in public and having private pictures stolen?

I agree
It's just like women who wear skimpy clothes. They're just begging to get raped.

You think she put them on the Internet. If you think that, then your SS# is on the Internet, too.

Fair enough, but here's a situation that's not remotely comparable to the topic at hand

You were talking about Maroney. JL never said she was underage in the pics.

No, I'm saying that the aforementioned scenario is entrapment.

well, is the icloud accessed via the internet?

I wasn't even talking about Maroney, you brought her up just because I brought up kiddie porn in general.

So you just just can't read well. Got it.

Not all such pics were taken in public places.
And I never said that stealing them wasnt wrong, just that everyone who looked at them, you included, should be rounded up and thrown in jail.

Well, this thread isn't going as OP intended. It's pretty stupid to blame her when someone broke into her account and stole the pictures.
Also it deters other women from sending nudes so this affects all of us

Not the same, someone took the video of Erin without her consent.
Someone else just hacked to steal JLaw's property.
One is not the same as the other. It doesn't really matter if JLaw's pics were nudes or just family photos in her case, it's still wrong. In Erin's case someone went out of their way to film her nude.
Erin is definitely a sexual crime, Jlaw is just stolen property.

The topic I'm talking about is people who saw the stolen pics. To me, it's the same as some photog snapping shots of people and publishing them.
Posted on 10/7/14 at 2:02 pm to CheeseburgerEddie
Via the Internet is not the same as the Internet. Servers and networks are way over your head.

I bet like the majority of Americans you heard the photos were stolen before you ever saw them.

Is be pissed if I was her too

Haven't read through all the responses but just from the 1st page, I find it ironic that we live in a country that loves this type of shite....but screams at Obama because of allegations to spying on his own citizens (it's essentially the exact same thing.)
FWIW..I looked at all the pics
