If you follow Hwy 90 down by the Rigolets, NOLA is not that far from St. Tammany/Slidell. It's closer than the 5 mile twinspans.

Not what I've heard/read.
I've read that they thought she had been scalped but she wore wigs. I've also read that she had trauma to the top of her head and she wasn't beheaded.
Regardless of what the truth is, she died from head trauma from rear ending a stationary truck.
