Are you talking funky feet or fungi feet?

You're probably going to lose that nail. I did that once--damaged my toe nail hiking in crappy boots. It turned black, eventually fell off, then grew back.

But I'd see a podiatrist just in case. If it's fungal too, he should be able to prescribe some kind of anti-fungus meds. Warning: they'll probably be ridiculously expensive (at least they were when my mom was on them).

Just go to your primary doctor...they can prescribe something for toenail fungus.

However...some of the oral meds for that are bad on your liver so you won't be able to drink while on the meds and will need bloodwork on occasion to check your liver levels. And they aren't guaranteed to work.

And they may cause heart attacks/palpitations, balding, flaccidity, gas, blindness, anal bleeding, body odor, scrotal itching, melanoma, glaucoma, sarcoma, Tacoma, Oklahoma, and has been known to make tattoos fall off.

Welcome wretched toenail, my little lifelong friend, when compared to taking the medication.

This is why you shouldn't see a nurse to diagnose and treat your problem...
