I have a friend who was told he was terminal and untreatable. So he went across the country until he found a doctor crazy enough to treat him because all the others said he was a dead man. He says the only way to beat cancer is to refuse to take terminal as an answer. Refuse to lose.

Tough break, but newer agents have provided additional time to patients.
I am flying but will do some reading over the weekend. Some reason radiation implant directly on tumor and surrounding tissue is in my mind. Recall article from few years back, possibly researcher in SF. I will try and locate article

Head to a place doing experimental treatments. Have a former patient that is on year three with a glioblastoma after going to MD Anderson for new but unapproved treatment
