Bayou Classic needs to be removed from New Orleans and played in Atlanta or Houston. It is unfortunately besieged with problems every year on Bourbon Street.

What? It's 2 Louisiana teams. Leave it in that shite hole New Orleans.

We could always have it played at that BREC field under I-110.

There was a 60 person brawl? Was this reported on the news?

Lol. There is so much stuff that doesn't make it on the news here. A fight in the Fq doesn't make it on the news unless a cop throws a punch breaking it up. Try worldstar.

Geez, wife and I came in last night for Saints game. Streets were definitely crowded. We got pedicab to go less than a mile from Poydras to La Boca last night b/c was so crowded. Overall hasn't been bad though, I was buzzed and asleep by 11. Hopefully it will be thinned out some tonight.

A 60 person fight makes the news buddy I lived in Nola for a long time that level of people clashing is large by any standard

I don't know how ugly it got- looked like security and police got there before it got terribly bad. But yea. My rough count was 50-60 in the crowd at about 7pm thanksgiving night. Up by the Tulane buildings and bio center on canal. There were a few blows being thrown and a whole lot of yelling when I strolled up. Blocked traffic, backed up about 3-4 streetcars and had maybe 5 police cars show up. Lots of people walking off yelling back at each other and then a stabbing about an hour later by those bus stops that always have trouble.

But generally it's felt tense all week. BC might have just brought the crowds and not the actual problem. But like I said, who knows. I surely don't know what sparked last night.

I wish this game could be moved from Thanksgiving weekend at least. It's too good of a tourist weekend to have this game on. Too many people come down, unaware, and vow to never come back.
my aunts and uncles did on my lovely parents recommendation based on how much fun my parents had on New Years, can't wait to hear how much fun they had when they get back lol I'm sure they won't be going back

Mitch the Bitch Landrieu ain't telling black people anything. That POS will just blame it on statues or guns or whatever else.
