serious question as I don't keep up with much of this ISIS stuff- why don't these guys fight back. They're dead either way. I wouldn't wanna sit there and be beheaded on TV. Id die trying to kill one of them or something

I've read they've been drugged. Also many reports of these folks having mock executions for these people so they may be desensitized.
