Is there such thing as a male gold digger?

So lets say I have a friend who met this girl who is doing her residency as an ER doctor. He is a normal dude working a 9-5in the field and plan on proposing to this girl for her prospects knowing she will make 500k next year $$$. Would it be fair for others to call him a gold digger?

No. Unlike women, men don't marry for money. You can find extremely hot women with ugly dudes all the time but you will never find the opposite. Guys have the desire to earn their own money unlike the fairer sex
