...don't pay attention to what is on their TVs???? There's great NBA games on, etc. and the TVs are still playing football games from two years ago and one is on a soap opera....guess the TV got left on a local channel.

You could just ask them to change the station

A football game from 2 years ago is still more entertaining than any basketball game.

I can think of a few things worse than that. If you can't, I envy your life

I've asked them once, but the Heat vs Pelicans has been over for almost an hour now. Feel like a dick for asking again since they act like it takes an act of God to change a station.

So Applebee's and Chili's. Just because you put up a few local high school/college jerseys on your walls doesn't make you a sports bar.

Tac, I'm with you...that's one of my biggest pet peeves. Went to one a year ago for the LSU - Ole Miss game and the majority were on the 2:30 CBS game which was close to the end, a few on some ESPNU game and one TV on CNN...WTF?!?!
I asked them 3-4 times to change it and the manager didn't know how...

Ever been to a "sports" bar that has TVs on games but dance club music blaring though the speakers? That's one of my pet peeves

It's amazing how many bartenders and managers have no idea how to work the TV's. One time a bartender ordered some $70 PPV on accident.
