Is there a store where you can try pillows before buying them?

Ever since I herniated 2 disks in my neck, I've had trouble finding a good pillow.

Ordering online has proved irritating as good reviews don't mean much for something that is so tied to personal preference.

There are lots of pillows at Bed Bath & Beyond, but they are all in bags and you can't just go lie on one of the display beds with them to give it a tryout.

Any of you gents know of a place that allows this?

The Pillow Palace, perhaps?

Glad you brought this up. I've been looking for a place that will let you try underwear for awhile before buying them. Any ideas?

I've done it before, but the salespeople glare at you with that 'I know you didn't just mess up that duvet set I just put together' look. Plus, most of the pillows are in bags.

I do. I just take them over to the bed and help myself. No one has ever complained but I do get the wtf looks. Who cares, you'll never see them again anyway

I second My Pillow. The guy's a douche but his pillow rocks hard. Much better than the Sobakawa that I used to love. You can shape it like the Soba but it is soft but firm. The Soba was almost like sleeping on a brick/bag of peanut shells.

If you like it hard go for the Sobakawa otherwise just nut up and order a My Pillow. It truly is awesome.

Don't know anywhere to try pillows, but I will say the buckwheat pillows sold on amazon are getting great reviews. I recently bought one and while it's small it's been great.

I bought a buckwheat pillow. Just a bit too firm for me. Plus I change positions in my sleep a lot, so the constant rustling of the buckwheat shells was distracting.

Just get a good goose down king sized pillow. Over time, you will show that bitch who's the king.

In 15 years or so, it'll be the size of a frick-you-bitch, throw pillow.
