Friggin’ rolling roadblocks wrapped in advertising to cover up the fact that there are maybe 3 people riding the damn things at any given time.

Such a fraud.

CATs, CoA, and BREC are all scams.

Well run but way over funded, and I wonder if they are over staffed.

They do stand out along with the BRFD and the Library as opposed to BRPD, CATS, the COA and DPW and Sewer.

I have no issues with MARC either.

Did you expect a complete eradication of mosquitoes in South Louisiana from an occasional mosquito truck dusting?

Out of all the things Louisiana government wastes money on, I'm not very upset with a war on mosquitoes.

The tax passage was what prompted me to leave BR.

CATS and COA

Both seem to have zero oversight.

They spent like $6 million on a new facility and $4.5 million on a new helo

There's no money leftover for actual spraying

What about the overfunded libraries? If you ever talk about cutting back on any of these programs you are against them. Heaven forbid we reduce property taxes or move it to an area that needs it.

Last I heard the library was sitting on 60 million in cash or so.

And that was after blowing all that money on the downtown branch no one particularly wanted which went millions over budget due to the building falling apart before it was complete due to either poor design or bad implementation.
