Yes it's nice but too far away from the coast for me.

I grew up there and will one day return. It’s far enough from BR that you really can’t commute daily. West Fel and Ruston are the two best communities in Louisiana.

Yea. And property taxes are high as the frick to keep undesirables out.

Pop over the bridge for shopping and fast food often. St Francisville is a great little day trip.
