The New Iberia haircut is alive and well , trust me on that. I see the cut all the time in my line of work and 99.9999% of the time the person sporting the cut is from New Iberia. I make it a point to strike up a conversation with the person to find out where they are from when I see someone with the hair cut at work.

Dude at my work has one and said he gets it done every other week. And he pays 35 bucks each time!

Oh yeah the cut requires frequent maintenance to maintain the high and tight look. The bangs must be slicked down though.

No it's not. That's me on the left. His name was Kris Kelly and he was one of the most beautiful souls I've ever known. He died a month ago.
