We did this last year and it was fine. Kids liked it. I can't find any other resort that is within 8hours of Nola and has all amenities. Any recs? TIA.

Within 8 hours, yes. Outside of 8 hours, no. There are places in Tampa/St. Pete that are better.

What amenities are you focused on?

I'm sure it's the best in the area, but there really isn't any competition.

I'm going to go with no, only because I'm not allowed back there so says Walton county correctional facility.

Probably not. The kids just like to run around the "Village" or nature walk and go to the restaurants. Joint vacation with 2 other families.

If this is the top place within 8 hours that's depressing

I did not enjoy it. I would rather stay at a place on the beach.

Check out Rosemary Beach. Here is a house that is relatively inexpensive. LINK

Nah, nah, nah. It quickly devolves into a d**k and t*t measuring contest.

I would say no since it's not on the beach. We went to the Sandestin Hilton every year as a kid and I loved that place.

No I haven. Looks really nice but I hear it's not very kid friendly. Think ages 4 - 8.

Watercolor is nothing but kids 4-8. Also, 9-16.
