With i10 re opening there's a route my fam could come pick me up from new Orleans, going by which roads are open on the 511la.org site; the main area where it doesn't show flooding but I'm skeptical is port Vincent. Anyone know if theres flooding in that area?

It might be closed, I am at Hwy 22 bridge over the Diversion Canal. This route is open, but I don't know about roads north of me

Port Vincent iS flooded. Not sure what route you are wanting to take, but at 11feet I imagine the 42 bridge isnt far from being closed if it isn't already. Not to mention 42 and 22 are probably getting some water on them.

Port Vincent was flooded before the storm.

Our family has a camp on Old River Rd across from Vals and while we havent been able to go out there to confirm, we pretty figure the camp will be pretty much gone if the river gets to the predicted stage.

The bridge was still open as was hwy 431 as of sundown. The water is up another foot since then which wouldn't effect either but I don't know about roads on L.P. side.

Given Port Vincent's long history of flooding, I would think that there is no way possible that this "Flood of the Century" could NOT have inundated that area.
