Is marriage a weird concept?

Im talking about heterosexual marriage. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not gay. I am attracted to women physically ( tits, legs, arse, eyes). I would rail the shite out of some girl I saw at trader joes yesterday. but think its weird you spend your life, money, and emotions on someone of the opposite sex after a few months of dating. They become more important then brothers, parents, sisters, friends, frat brothers, teammates. We spend much more time with our best friends or classmates growing up. I can't hold a conversation with a woman longer then 5 minutes. Ive seen college guy roomates become so close. I have a few friends who are girls, but I can talk with guys about so many things Now I understand about gay marriage.

Most will say marriage is weird but it's not. You just haven't met the right person if you can't hold a conversation for that long.

man, I can see my post went over your heads. My point is that we spend so much time with one girl when you've had countless memories with friends, relatives, coworkers, etc. Then you can get divorced and left broke. And you guys should admit that after marriage you let your relationship with your parents, siblings, and old friends take second fiddle and lose touch. hell, I think I will love my dog more then I could a girl( he wont cheat on me, leave me). Or maybe ive never fund the right person, idk.
