Is it trashy? Salad dressing edition

Thousand Island
I love it, but am hesitant to order it in most sit down restaurants. When they don't have it, the server's judgment is obvious.

Idk. That's all my dad eats, and he grew up in an affluent household in a town where his parents and grandparents were the most influential people around. I figure if it was trashy, then they wouldn't have allowed it. Maybe it's a generational thing.
That being said, I worked in a couple different higher end restaurants in college, and never noticed anyone passing judgment for asking for thousand island.

Raspberry balsamic is so underrated

A fresh made anchovy-rich Caesar is better than blue cheese IMO
Those are clearly the top 2 tho

Also, I feel I should add - pretty much the only time I ever passed judgment on people during their meal was if they ordered their steak past medium, asked for steak sauce before cutting into their steak, or asked for extra ranch for anything. That's trashy AF.

Yeah...my dad liked it. He would order it like "one thousand island" and it made me laugh evry time.

Hibachi itself is trashy now, but back when it wasn't - the people who would drench their food in extra thousand Island/mayonnaise type sauce were super trashy
