The bottle water industry basically started in Baton Rouge and New Orleans with kentwood and Abita springs water companies because people in the know knew the water was deadly

Your Colorado is showing. We get mandated testing reports on our tap water at least annually. Maybe ask for data from your government entities instead of leftie emotional appeals?

What are they using the pumped aquifer water for, then?

BR has plenty of issues. Water is not one of them. Besides Iceland, we have the best tap water I’ve ever tasted.

BR tap water is indistinguishable from any bottled water. This is a clown thread.

When I was in the Tigerland apartments about 20 years ago the water always smelled like sulphur when I first turned it on. Oh and it was soft as hell. Never felt like the soap was off me.

Wrong, River water has to be treated. It’s a lot harder than BR water and full of stuff from upstream. BR water is very soft and is cheaper to use.

BR water is great compared to almost any other city i've lived in. This won't stop 50% of tOT bitching about the water like anything else.

I was actually at a metro council meeting a few years ago when a representative of the plants said exactly that. I just figured it was easier to simply point out the water usage numbers than to argue about what it’s used for. Though I imagine neither of us are going to get a response
