The credit card thread got me thinking...What's everyone in a hurry to do next? We certainly can't waste time paying for anything, nor can we waste time interacting with people because something more important is always next. When you order anything you want it yesterday. Why? I need answers. Now!

Rarely do I get in a hurry for anything but "workin' for the weekend" is what I do get in a hurry for.

Stay in the parish. There's only so much room at skate country.

Media is nothing but one big advertisement now. Cable TV is the worst - 7 minutes of programming (full of subtle product placements) - then 7 minutes of commercials. Hyper consumerism.

Sounds like a you problem. I've never had an issue with this. In fact most of the people I know enjoy interacting with friends and family. So much so that they plan the day around it.
