There not what they once were. Went to the one in New Orleans, slow service, weak food, nothing but kids in the gaming area and, best of all, went on a Monday night to watch football and not one tv had the game on. Had NCIS and the bachelorette. Really, should you have to ask a sports bar to put sports on the tv?

You went to probably the most ghetto D&B in the country and you think "there not what they once were" based on that?

Went in Houston 6 or 7 years ago and it was the exact experience forewarned here re Nola and BR. I don’t get the feeling it would be any different anywhere, anytime.

I went to Quarters for the first time a few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice laser tag area, plenty of games, etc. Nice bar area too.
I'll admit, I was skeptical of what this place would be like. Myself and people like me are part of the problem when it comes to 'BR can't have nice things'. When someone does take a chance and spends a lot of money to have a nice place, we should support them and keep coming back if we like the product. If we don't they can't afford the quality workers, security, etc to keep it a nice place.
This was during the day, so I can't speak for how it is at night. Night crowds will always be livelier at a place like this, but that doesn't mean it has to be unsafe.

BR at its finest. Can’t get enough of those chains. Addicted.

I thought they were putting one in the old HH Gregg. There's some construction going on at that site right now.

New Orleans D&B is a trashy Shithole

I went to the one here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Wasn't that bad. Although we didn't eat, just played some games.

no idea what the appeal of D&B is above the age of 12

Dave and Busters in NO sucked when I went. Slow service, full of trashy people, and if the location wasnt already bad enough, you have to pay to park in their garage

I went to a Pelicans game.. I think it was end of January, early February.. Anyway, we decided to get a hotel that night instead of coming back home after the game and we got one right by the smoothie king center. We passed Dave & Busters on the way to and from the smoothie king center and on the way back, it was about 9:30PM, we were going to stop there and it was packed. There was a line outside and it was cold.. When we passed the next day, it was 10:30-11AM and it was packed again. Not like the night before, but it was packed.
I don't know about the service or what they have on TV, but whatever they are doing, people are still going... And why would you go to a Dave & Busters to watch a football game? People all over the place playing games.. And you trying to watch a game...
