I don't care for them, myself, usually.

I was on the "Tats are trashy AF" bandwagon for a long time. However, all my kids are tatted up, as are their SOs and they're all fine, decent, hardworking, taxpaying 'Muricans.

Hell, they're all making more than I did at the same age.

These things come in cycles.

No but I wouldn't want someone fully tatted.

You darn right it would... i'm not walking around town with a wife that looks like a wrinkly bused raisin because she couldn't keep her trashiness in check in her younger years.

Are tattoos a deal breaker for you in terms of relationship material standards?

A single tattoo or two that can be covered and isn't trashy no. A chick tatted up yes.

Lots of ink no.

Would a SO getting one be grounds for termination?

My SO doesn't have any ,but if she would go crazy and get an arm sleeve and tats around her face and neck than yeah I am out.

I just don’t get the point (no pun intended) of a tattoo. Whether it is a statement to others or a statement for the inked person, do they really think the tattoo is the thing get the message across?

I guess I can understand the reason for military insignia or even a gang tattoo, but most (not all) others tattoos just seem like an excuse or an escape for someone dealing with life issues. Hell, everyone has issues, but why permanently mark your body to highlight them?

It’s a dealbreaker for me.

Seems to me that the majority of women have tattoos these days, I think it might be more of a Houston/Texas thing though. Because I keep seeing these threads and always think that it's rare that see a chick without a tattoo.

Absolutely not.
Good tattoos just enhance a woman’s sexiness

Good Lord how some of you children make it through life is beyond me.

Its simply a reflection of ones upbringing.

Thanks for clarifying yours.

I hope all you tat'd up cooks and dishwashers don't doxx me, don't need you guys spitting in my food.

HAHHA JK, I don't eat at the type of establishments that would hire the type.

In all seriousness, if you have visible tattoos -- 99% chance you will be hindered by them.

Tattoos, to me, are like the parents in public, disciplining their kids so loud you know it is just for attention......

Or the deadbeat dads with both kids names tattoo'd on the biceps..... but haven't paid child support or visited your kids in years....

Ink on youth can be sexy

Ink on old people is just sad

I think it depends on the location of the tattoo's my ex wife had some kind of hindu goddess tattooed on her shoulder blade complete with bare tits, seriously trashy, and a tramp stamp that I thought was hot when it would peak over her jeans.

I would agree though that full sleeves or anything like that is way too trashy for me. One or two hidden ones are good though.

I wanted to get one when I was younger but held off because I didn't just want to get one because I liked the way it looked. I wanted it to mean something. Now that tattoos have become a huge fad and everyone and their grandma has one it's no longer appealing to me. Plus, the older you get the more they look like shite and just blotches of ink.

Seriously. I remember when tattoos were reserved for vets, bad-arse bikers, and ex-cons. You're not really making a statement when your pastor has bigger tats than you.

Depends on the location and the message. I don't care for them, but I would make an exception for a tasteful one, if that exists
