Just updated my phone and started my free trial.
I have a long roadtrip next week and am loving all the suggested playlists on here that you can download for offline use. There is a whole section for driving, working out, relaxing, getting it on(yes that is what it says
),whatever. Will def make use of those. Granted I have never used Spotify so don't know if they had something similar already in place.

I don't think that's how it works. Because I have an LSU fight song that's obviously not on iTunes. So it's streaming my own version from the cloud. So obviously whatever you have locally on your computer, should still be able to stream to your devices. But it just won't be the iTunes version.
Man I really hope I'm understanding this correctly

Did anyone else notice that Taylor Swift's album is on there? I thought she wrote a letter against having her music on there.

I restarted like someone said and still nothing. If anyone figures this out please let us know. So annoying!
ETA: I found a fix here: LINK. Basically you have to just keep trying it over and over and over until it works.

go to settings> music> click subscribe to itunes match> hit cancel. then try again
^ idk this worked for me, maybe it was dumb luck

Just keep trying to enable it over and over and it will eventually work, I am building playlists now.

iTunes Match is now a subset of the overall Apple Music Service. You pay for one or the other. Apple Music effectively replaces iTunes Radio for those that upgrade iTunes/iOS.

But iTunes radio is still free. Apple Music has a fee.

I upgraded to iOS 8.4 and am able to listen to Apple Music radio without subscribing or using the trial. I think there may be adds and/or limited skips for free users.

Tried everything and still can't make a playlist. It lets me add the music, then when I try to listen to the playlist, no songs show up. It shows up as a local playlist, but not an apple music playlist.

Is there anyway to export Spotify playlist to Apple Music? Put way too much time into those to abandon Spotify if not
