International Holocaust Rememberance Wkend

Considering all the survivors' stories in the media this past week, one caught my attention. It was on AHC, a 2 part series on "After Hitler" and one survivor was giving testimony in Hamburg against several SS guards. She said one nite the whole camp was wakened by these "hideous screams" coming from the crematorium. She said they found out the next day that the camp had run out of the poison gas & the guards were throwing the children directly into the ovens. So much for feeling sorry for these old SS guards who are only now coming up for trial. Who is too old to be tried for revolting crimes like this? These guards did not just march around the camps guarding the fences/gate. They actively participated in the murder of victims like these & deserve to be tried for their crimes, regardless of their ages.

Keep in mind that a lot of these survivor stories have later been verified to be either embellished, exaggerated or flat out false.
Many people have "stolen valor" in that they made a living being a fake holocaust survivor. A lot of these frauds have been exposed and left in shame, but for some reason their stories still get pedelled as fact.
One fake survivor justified it by saying "it was real in my mind". Another fake story that still gets passed off as fact is that the victims skin was used to make lampshades and soap.
Be sure to verify any stories you hear. There are a lot of fake survivor stories out there that get mixed in with the real ones

it's funny because while there is some revisionist history that is at least thorough and has the trappings of serious historical scholarship (namely David Irving), he's never read any of it (or any book, I would assume). Instead, he just posts links to youtube and obscure, cobbled together websites from Eastern Europe. His brain is rotting away from over exposure to the internet.

OTOH, the past can't be changed and Germany would do well to stop apologizing for Hitler and start looking after its own welfare again. White guilt gets them nowhere.

Where else can you find revisionist material. Of course you will only find it in such places as revisionist material, even if 100% true and accurate, will be blackballed from any mainstream publication or source
