Loin, butt and ribs are all up from a year ago.
So no, not all of the pig has gone down in price.

Prices that inflate rarely go down. They can try to act like inflation RATE is "slowing," which is also a lie, but once prices re-set to a higher value and people keep spending coin, there is no incentive to lower them. Market equilibrium and all.
In the end, inflation is the tax that is not legislated. It's forced. So they will continue destroying us with it because their end is nigh. This whole party is about to implode.
Learn skills, friends!

The grab and go rotisserie chicken at the grocery store is the same price as it was 10 years ago.
It’s still $6.99. Hasn’t gone up or down in years.

So a sale on an item at a store means inflation is down.
What an idiot that guy is. Voters like him are why they release stupid things like the July 4 cookout savings, they eat it up

True. A deflationary economy is actually very bad too. You don’t want prices to recede, you want inflation to slow enough where wages and value of a dollar increase

No way, dude. We won't have a good economy until we are back to $1.50/gallon gasoline like during the peak COVID shutdown days. Just ask 75% of this board.
The U.S. economy and stock market was ROARING from March-May 2020.

Loss leader item is what that is called. Pork used to be a reasonable price pre CoVid. Then the sales became rarer.

True deflation will not be allowed to happen because it is devastating to the heavily indebted. Meaning the US government and a huge portion of our population. They’ll just continue to debase the currency every chance they get. I guess it’s good if inflation is slowing down, but the damage has already been done over the last couple of years. A dollar ain’t worth what it once was and over time that trend will continue.

If a Republican wins the white house, will everyone here blame him when the prices inevitably continue to rise? Because they will, inflation isn't going to magically reverse itself
